Chia Peanut Butter Banana Overnight Oats

{Vegan + gluten-free + dairy-free}


Start your day with dessert! Well almost - with this delicious Chia Peanut Butter Banana Overnight Oats!! This breakky in a jar delivers a ton of nutrition to keep you energized for the day! This is how you want to start your day and support your metabolism.


Both bananas and oats are loaded with fibre and B vitamins - helping to support good energy, healthy mood and hormone balance. Plus all this fibre helps to keep you satisfied for hours, and is fantastic for gut health. Chia is rich in calcium, fibre and omega 3 essential fatty acid - important for cognitive support and brain health. And peanut butter is added for that protein-rich creamy goodness that will help to keep good energy levels throughout your morning without having that sugar crash.


*This is a hearty delicious breakfast or dessert that you prepare the night before.


INGREDIENTS


In a jar or glass container, add the following ingredients:


1/2 cup oat milk (or other nut milk)

2 Tbsp black chia seeds

1/2 tsp Ceylon cinnamon

1/4 cup gluten-free oats

1 Tbsp organic or all- natural peanut butter

1 Tbsp maple syrup

1/2 banana, sliced



PREPARATION


Start by adding oat milk or other milk alternative in a jar. Then add chia seeds, oats, and remaining ingredients.

Once all ingredients are in the jar or container, stir until well combined. Cover jar or container and refrigerate overnight.


When you are ready to eat in the morning, you can add additional peanut butter and a couple of banana slices as a topper (optional).


Serves 1. Enjoy!
